Dr. Praska grew up in south central North Dakota in the small town farming community of Oakes. He attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota with an undergraduate study in zoology. He then spent six years in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the University of Minnesota completing his dental studies and orthodontic residency. In July of 1990, he joined the practice of Dr. Lloyd Truax and they spent nearly 20 years practicing together. Dr. Praska is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the Minnesota Association of Orthodontists (MAO), and the Zumbro Valley Dental Society. He is also a member of the local Rochester Exchange Service Club. Dr. Praska and his wife Lyn reside in Rochester.
